Hi everyone! Happy Valentine's Day! I will be out delivering flowers today for my family's florist shop! That's a happy job I don't mind doing! It's time for another Stamp Ink Paper challenge! This week we have some happy colors!!!
I must admit, at first glance, these hues gave me pause, but in the end, I thought some florals were in order:
I also thought I would try some stenciling: I sponged a background in So Saffron, then stenciled over it with Flirty Flamingo; kind of a cool look, but it did change the FF to a much oranger shade, LOL!
I added the large floral from Flower Patch, stamping it three times in Bermuda Bay, and cutting the second and third layers down to give it some dimension, then stamped the smaller flowers in Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron:
We used this recipe from Pinterest...they were delicious!!! I cut the recipe in half, still used one egg, no milk, and added a little extra flour until the dough was no longer sticky. And we didn't have time to put frosting on them, but they are still yummy! Have a heart-filled day!
I love what you did with these colors! The stenciling looks fantastic, almost like a trellis for the flowers! Great card!
ReplyDeleteLOve this card, its colors, and design ... but I adore the little stinker I just received in the mail more ... thank you SO much, LeAnne!
