GDP075 and FMS276 Happy B Day

Happy Thursday, all!  I have a sweet little "bee" card for you today, using the FMS sketch and the GDP prompt:

I was inspired by my friend Colleen when I saw this card, so I pulled out my favorite "bee" stamps and got them inky!  And here we go:

I used a lot of fun things I haven't used for a while....papers from Authentique and SU, stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms, and a retired SU embossing folder!  I embossed the Authentique paper with the Hexagon EF, which gave the already-distressed-looking paper an additional stressing!  I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and cut a little banner:

and stamped the pussy willows in Delightful Dijon and the bee in Stazon Black, then stamped him again and popped him up after coloring him with some inks and an aquapainter:

I added a couple of hearts and some gold sequins and now I have another card for my stash!

Cassidy brought home this giant elephant and was supposed to decorate it....we opted to use some of the plethora of washi tapes I have in my stash!!  It was a fun, easy way to decorate it, especially since it was the day she hurt her hand!

Thanks for visiting today!  Be blessed!
