Happy Saturday, everyone! Hope your weekend is going well! I just loved this sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch this week:
and although I was tempted to use a bird on my card, I realized I have been remiss in making Christmas cards, so I thought I would remedy that, and I used the prompt from Merry Monday as a starting point:
And amazingly, this card was a snap to put together!!! It only took me about 15 minutes!!! Here we go:
I used the mug from a retired SU set called Scentsational Seasons and heat-embossed it on some black and white DSP from Carta Bella; the plaid is from the same paper pad. And the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted! Love that cross-stitch font!
Cassidy got a little jewelry-making kit for Christmas, just basically bracelets and charms, but she was quite serious about the one she made for Mommy!
Thanks for popping in today and be blessed! Be sure to come back tomorrow for the Paper Players challenge!
Project Details | |
Stamps | Scentsational Seasons (Ret SU); Christmas In Stitches (Clearly Besotted) |
Card stock & Papers | Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Christmas Delivery DSP (Carta Bella) |
Ink | Riding Hood Red, Craft White |
Accessories | |
Tools | Big Shot, Reverse Confetti Lacy Scallop Frame Die, Mug Die, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool |
I love every aspect of this card but, alas, I will have to admire it from afar. I just cannot order more DSP or stamps. However, the counted cross stitch Merry Christmas and plaid paper are calling my name. I did order the Luke 2 DSP that you had on a card a little while back. I was not disappointed with the designs and quality of the cardstock! Enjoy your weekend.
