Oh, Christmas Tree!

Happy Monday, peeps!  The ole blog was a wee bit quiet over the weekend...lots of stuff going on!  I attended a cookie exchange on Saturday--delayed because of snow and sleet--but we made it in the end, and it was wonderful!  So fun to sample others' baked delights and come home with some new homemade goodies!  Unfortunately, the weather has been so cold, I haven't been able to walk outside to work off the calories!  Yesterday I did have time to stamp another Christmas card...actually a thank you card, using some Stamplorations stamps, and I think it's CAS enough to qualify for their December challenge:

Sherry's designs are delightful and she really takes a personal interest in all the orders!  I love this little tree from Oh Christmas Tree, and it comes with cute sentiments too:

I used some papers from Recollections' City Sidewalks line; stamped my tree in a combination of Garden Green and Emerald Envy, trying to match the green in the papers, then added some sequins for some simple glitz:

The background paper was more a pinky-red than true red, so I stamped my sentiment in Strawberry Slush and hand-cut it out.  And it's in the mail, on its way to its recipient!

Cassidy and Dana did some baking at Dana's boyfriend's house:

Wayne got into the act, sharing his artistic culinary talents as well!  Thanks for popping by today!

  1. Very cute card, LeAnne! Love the look of the non traditional papers and your tree with sequin ornaments! What stamps did you use for the sentiment? Yum! Look at all those pretty cookies! Cassidy sure loves decorating them, doesn't she?! Thankfully, I got my Christmas cards mailed out & the cookie baking done! I still have some wrapping to do and my house to get cleaned. It seems like it never ends!!! TFS your adorable card and have a great day!! It might be cold but atleast today the sun is shining! :)
