Happy September, everyone! Hope you're having a great week so far! My card today is for three challenges: Stamp Ink Paper's Wonderful Wings; Freshly Made Sketches' sketch; and Retro Rubber's Critter Time:
Now, don't laugh, but chickens DO have wings, so my critter is a chicken, from a set called Countryside, which is from 2010. I pulled out some scraps from my bin, punched some circles, did a wee bit of stamping, and this is what I ended up with:
I always wanted a chicken wire stamp, but I never did get one! I did remember that I had a Crafty Secrets digital image, so I printed it out on some Naturals White cardstock; the chicken is stamped in Cherry Cobbler, and each circle is sponged with a little Sahara Sand ink to give it a vintage look:
I stamped a "hello" (Papertrey's What the Doodle Feather) in Delightful Dijon, added some thick baker's twine and my country creation was done!
Pix from the last hurrah of summer at Dutch Wonderland:
Have a blessed day and thank you for visiting!
LeAnne, you had me for a moment ... and yes, I would eat Chicken Wings for breakfast! Darling card, and I love the digi wire! Miss C. has a cute new hair cut!

ReplyDeleteLOL yes chickens do have wings! A dinner debate the other night was if they can fly, and after a google search it turns out they can, they are just not very good at it. Did you know they could swim too? Thanks for sharing your beautifully country card with SIP, and have a great day!
