Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday, and time for another Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch! The option this week is beading or holiday! I was intimidated by the sketch at first, but found it easier to work with than I originally thought:
I am definitely not into beading, but I thought you could handle another Christmas card, especially featuring this handsome fellow:
He's from a retired Close to My Heart set (Santa Claus Holiday), and I used some retired SU paper as well as a retired SU gingham wheel that I unmounted from the wheel and mounted on some foam...much easier to use this way!
I used some stitched dies from Lil'Inker, and some thick baker's twine from SU. Here's the inside...I love the country feel of the Real Red and Crumb Cake inks!
I am also entering this in the Little Red Wagon challenge this week, which is Christmas in July!
The design team has some lovely samples to show you...be sure to check them out at the TSOT blog! And remember that we have a Facebook page on which you can share your creations too!
We took a little sail out of Rock Hall, MD on my birthday....although Cassidy looks at ease in these photos with me and Grampy, she was really hot, sweaty and crabby!
Even though it was hot and muggy, it was a nice little diversion....and on the way home, it POURED rain! We got back just in time! And now for some more birthday cards....this one is from my PP teamie, Colleen...it's pretty inside and out!
and from another teamie, the QUEEN of diecuts, Laurie:
So much creativity!!! Thanks for popping by today!
Oooohh, just love that adorable Santa, LeAnne! He's super cute and works so well for that sketch! Pretty paper too! Last Thursday was a really hot & humid day...I know I was inside more than I was out! Glad you had a fun time out on the boat inspite of the weather. TFS your pictures....looks very relaxing!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, LeAnne! I love the polka dots with the gingham! That Santa is perfect with the both of them! Glad you had a nice birthday get-away!
