Happy Wednesday! What a glorious week we've been having...a reward for all that awful weather in April and May, LOL! Today, I have my weekly Christmas card featuring the Merry Monday challenge of a cute, fun Christmas card for a child, as well as squeaking in the sketch for Create with Connie & Mary:
And of course, since I already had Foxy Friends on my desk, I just had to ink it up again! This time, I used the raccoon face, along with some items from Snow Place. Here we go:
I used Watermelon Wonder for the base (again) and A Little Foxy for the DSP elements (again!); I stamped the Santa hat in WW as well and diecut it, then added a few snowflakes in Pool Party around Mr. Raccoon. The "ho ho ho" sentiment is from another new set in the catalog, called Oh What Fun, and it IS fun....so many cute sentiments and elements to play with! I stamped it in Basic Gray on a Pool Party banner, which I separated to make it fit better for the sketch. And of course, I had to add some Dazzling Diamonds to the hat!
I added some jumbo silver sequins from the holiday catalog a couple of years ago for some bling! And the inside features another sentiment from Oh What Fun, again, stamped on a little banner:
I think a "child" of any age would enjoy this card! Hope you do too!
We had a little mishap Monday night, again with the monkey bars! This time, Mommy couldn't reach her quickly enough and when she fell, the horse swing broke her fall, but she still landed hard on her feet. So a little trip to the ER ensued:
And by the time the X-ray technician arrived, this is what she found! She slept through ALL the x-rays! Since she was walking pretty well this morning, we think (PRAY and HOPE) that it is just a sprain!
Enjoy your day!
OH NO! Mr. Raccoon might have to make another appearance with a feel better/make a girl smile card - he sure worked for me!

CASSADY take care honey ❤️❤️
LeAnne,
ReplyDeleteI know you & your daughter will take perfect care of Cassidy ... and ... Be careful not to blow off her ankle as "just a sprain." I sprained my ankle when I was 7, and it has caused me serious problems throughout my adult life because it did not get the proper follow up care when I was 7. Hugs to the little one! And the card is darlin' as always!!
Adorable LeAnne! I love getting ideas for Christmas using the new stuff! I'll be casing! Sorry to hear Miss Cassidy has an injury :(. Hope she's better soon!
ReplyDeleteOver the top adorable card! Poor Cassidy. Hope all is OK.
ReplyDeleteOh LeAnne as always this is just absolutely DARLING! How clever to have a Christmas racoon! Thanks for playing along with us this week in the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteOh, Looking at Snow Place I see more possibilities for fun things with this little fox and friends set!
ReplyDeleteHope Cassidy is doing good today! Hugs to you all!
I hope it's just a sprain and that Cassidy will be good as new quickly and climbing again! Love your little raccoon! He is definitely very cute all dressed up for Christmas! Thanks for sharing this with us at Merry Monday!
ReplyDeleteYour little raccoon is just too cute! And hope your little sweetie is back to running around soon! :0)
ReplyDeleteYour card is just as CUTE as can be!! OH MY GOODNESS, poor little Cassidy. Sure hope she's okay. I'll keep her in my prayers tonight.
ReplyDeleteAdorable Christmas card LeAnne, just right for a child. Thanks for playing this week at Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteLove this fun Christmas card LeAnne - beautifully co-ordinated and the santa hat is adorable! Hope Cassidy is feeling much better today following her fall earlier this week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card! It's not every day that you see a Christmas card featuring a raccoon, but I love it! <3
ReplyDeleteHope that the little one is doing well! It's just too hard on a mother's heart when they are in pain! <3

Oh, I bet your Big heart was going a mile a minutes when you watched it happen! So glad the outcome is not as bad as it could have been for your sweet little one! Your card is just adorable, that little raccoon is one I would not mind meeting in winter time! Thank you for sharing this at Seize the Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your daughter, I hope she's up and about already! :) Your card is adorable, I just received my stamps and punch, can't wait to play! :)
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this? Adorabke card for Christmas! And poor Miss C! I hope she is doing much better!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card! You're definitely making me consider this set when I'd already skipped over it. I read the other day that Cassidy was feeling and walking better and I wondered what I'd missed. Here it is. I'm glad to hear she's ok, especially now that I know what was wrong.
