Hi peeps! Here's a fun little card using this cool sketch from As You See It:
I wanted to use DSPs for the stripes, although I also thought about using washi tape, but these patterns from Floral Boutique won out:
I cut the ends of the strips with the scallop oval punch, then added a sentiment from Flourishing Phrases. I created a flower with the dies from the Flower Fair Framelits, and added two beautiful die-cut leaves from the Flourish Thinlets:
It's really a pretty simple card but striking with the navy and white! Thanks for popping in today!
Cassidy created a little Lego box (with help) using some Emerald Envy cardstock and a pattern we found on Pinterest here:
A little hint....use a 3/4" circle punch to make the "bumps"....we didn't make them very high because we were in a hurry, but it's easy to punch out lots of them quickly! She filled it with some candy and gave it to Mommy....with the proviso that Mommy share her candy with her, LOL!
Navy and white is such a smart combination and your beautifully crafted flower sits well on the background. I love the little scallops at the bottom of the vertical strips - lovely detail. Thanks so much for joining us again at As You See It.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous, LeAnne! Love the patterns and the striking white flower. That Lego box is pretty darn cute, too!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, I like the card, of coarse blue is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteCassidy's Lego Box is so cute. She needs to have here own "Make and Takes"!
Super cute!!! Thank you for joining us at AYSI, good luck!!! Amy DT
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, LeAnne! Love that paper and it makes a stunning card with your take on the sketch! I love your attention to detail with the little scallops at the bottom of each stripe! My daughter just made a lego cake for my grandson's 4th birthday, by arranging oreos on the top of the rectangular cake and icing them all over. Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenges this time.
