Happy Wednesday, peeps! My Christmas card this week uses three challenges!! The first is from 52 (Christmas) Card Throwdown:
As well as Merry Monday's snowy theme:
And the beautiful color challenge from In{k}spire Me:
Because the colors are a little unusual for a snowy Christmas card, I went "light" on the snowflakes, using several different sets, stamping them in the challenge colors on a Whisper White base. I added a sentiment from Paper Pumpkin in Blackberry Bliss, a retired metal frame from waaaaaaay back, some glimmer ribbon and linen thread:
The frame actually had eyelets on both sides, but I trimmed one end off to make it look more like a tag! The sentiment is from Papertrey's Believe set, and you can't see it, but the letters are sparkly because I used Wink of Stella on them!
The white panel was simply mounted on a mat of Blackberry Bliss and adhered to a Sahara Sand card base! Another for my stash!
Enjoy your day!
PHewww! I know it has cooled of here, but you truly had me worried about your weather! No worries here, LeAnne! Very cook, darling card, darling grandchild ...

LeAnne, this is so pretty!! Brilliant work with the colors! :)
ReplyDeleteThis card is awesome and matches the weather around here (but well, who needs snow by the end of April? ;) )...
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at In{k}spire_me!
All the best, Christine
Elle est superbe LeAnne, un design très moderne et élégant, le combo de couleur est très original et sympa, je craque pour le blackberry bliss , merci de jouer avec nous chez 52cct, biz
ReplyDeleteI think these colours are gorgeous! I do like the metal tag frame for the sentiment. Thanks so much for playing along with 52CCT this week! Deborah, DT.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love these colors, LeAnne! such pretty snowflakes! And such pretty Cassidy! How grown up she looks! Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday!
ReplyDeleteLove all of those sweet snowflakes dancing about!! This is pretty LeAnne, but you know Cassidy steals the spotlight!!
ReplyDeleteWow Leanne. Love this card. Wonderful in its simplicity, color and style. Fun snowflakes (cool idea to mix multiple sets), my favorite colors in combination and the tag idea really pops. Super idea on downsizing the metal. The blend of natural textures and glimmer elements appeals to me too. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCutting off the extra eyelet to make the frame into a tag is pure genius!!! What an awesome way to get more mileage out of that SU hardware (yes, I recognize it because I still have some, too!). I love the dainty snowflakes in those colors, too. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome card with us at 52CCT! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't believe you made a Christmas Card in April! But it is gorgeous. Thank you for joining us at Inkspire me. Marion
