Happy Thursday, peeps! Ah, the weekend is almost upon us! I have a quick little card today using the FMS sketch:
Friendly Phrases is one of those fun stamp sets that I just never got to use enough, and since it's retiring, I thought I'd ink it up for today's card. I stamped a big flower from Flower Patch and trimmed it down, then positioned it behind a stamped gingham strip (retired wheel). It all went atop an embossed piece, over which I placed my sentiment:
Both stitched elements are from Lil'Inkers; the smaller flower is also from Friendly Phrases! Thanks for popping in today!
Cassidy spent an hour or so in the craft room with me yesterday, making a birthday card for one of her dolls. Now, at any given moment, her doll could be 3, 5, or as in this case, 12! She stamped a little puppy dog, cut out the number 1 and 2 and adhered them on the card:
She even came up with her own sentiment, which I wrote out and she traced with a black marker:
I thought this was pretty clever!
The clincher was this one though....on the inside, she used a green glitter pen to write her sentiment, and after the first word, she looked at it longingly and said "I could just eat this up! It's like there's a party going on here!" LOL...I cracked up! Who of us hasn't felt that way about something glittery!!!
Perfectly sweet, LeAnne with my favorite embossing folder, and that darling red gingham! Miss C's card is a winner, too! I could just eat HER up!
