Happy Friday, peeps! Well, yesterday I told you I made a baby boy card when I should have made a baby girl card! Ooops! So today, I've got the right card for you! Again, I'll share this at the Stamp, Ink Paper blog for their baby challenge, and this time, I used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch:
I found this sweet bannered paper on which I thought a vintage baby coach would look lovely! I stamped it in Strawberry Slush ink, then added a little scrap on the left, some Summer Starfruit ribbon and as an afterthought, because it looked a bit naked, part of a doily:
The baby coach is from a company called Cloud 9, and the sentiment is from a very old Inque Boutique set, stamped in Hello Honey. I just love the faux stitching on the paper:
And isn't this a sweet image?
The whole shebang was mounted on a Sahara Sand card, cuz that's what I had laying on my desk! Call me lazy!
Well, last week we were running around in shorts and this week, we needed to unpack our longjohns!! Crazy spring!
Enjoy your day!
Adorable! I had a little dolls pram just like that when I was little, made of pink plastic! Love the soft bunting and doily addition - I'm never quite sure what to do with those! A super sweet baby card LeAnne!

ReplyDeleteOh my word! This is fabulous! The vintage pram is a wonderful image but my favourite thing is the paper banners with the lacy banners behind. Stunning!

It's supposed to warm up this week a bit but I'll believe it when I see it. We've only had 2 days that have warranted shorts so far...Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, this is just adorable! Love all the pink with the pop of yellow. And yes....this whole winter burst is completely unacceptable. Back to shorts for all of us! Nice to see you, as always, at FMS!
