Hi peeps! Happy Wednesday...the middle of the week, yay! I needed a sympathy card and put to use the great sketch from Stamp Ink Paper:
I pulled out some lovely MME papers called Stella and Rose for my card:
I matched up some gold-toned papers, added gold baker's twine, lace trim and a little organdy flower that I sprinkled with some gold glitter.....I hope that it's not inappropriate to add a little sparkle to a sympathy card! I added a glimmer paper banner and some sequins as well.
The sentiment is from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.
Thanks for popping in! I will be taking a wee little blog break for some R&R, but I'll see you late next week!
This turned out beautifully! The tiny bit of bling is a nice touch. Gee, I need a sympathy card too but have yet to manage it. I was in the mode of sending "thinking of you" cards to a family friend, but alas now it needs to be sympathy for her family. Maybe tonight I can bring myself to make it. Such a tough process sometimes when its sympathy, isn't it?
