Happy Monday, peeps! This is a quick post; I did a marathon stamping/crafting session this weekend and I am plumb worn out! This was my favorite Christmas card of the batch, and I thought I’d share it with you:
This cute little tree is from Wplus9, and it’s called Pretty Patches Tree; the pinked edge die is from the same company, although I can’t remember the name of the die!!! I stamped the images on Sahara Sand using Lost Lagoon and Riding Hood Red ink. I used some DSP from Authentique’s Two Christmas in One; the embossed panel is Naturals White, and the embossing folder is Tim Holtz’s Deer knit. I just love the country feel of this! I am also adding this to Maureen Merritt's Throwback Thursday post using Wplus9 stamps!
We’ve really been into crafts lately; Cassidy had a couple of birdhouses left from her birthday party, and she wanted to paint one for a little girl on her bus who had been crying (someone called her a bully!):
She managed to use every color we had, and did a pretty good job of it! She was rewarded with a nice thank you note a few days later from the little girl, written on a huge silver star! Thoughfulness on both sides!Enjoy your day!
Gorgeous card, LeAnne! Love the gingham check and the embossing on the white panel - so fresh and so you! Cassidy is so thoughtful and caring - such a great story to start anyone's week off!
ReplyDeleteI love this card LeAnne. The sweet tree and that wonderful knit panel are just so sweet.
ReplyDeleteHow kind of Cassidy to care about the other girl. Her painted birdhouse is adorable.
I love the country feel of this card, too! It makes me think of a cozy quilt! What kind of paint is Cassidy using on the birdhouse! She is so sweet and smart!
ReplyDeleteI like your sweet country card LeAnne!! How precious and thoughtful was Cassidy!! I'm glad she received the thank you too ;)
