Try Stampin’ On Tuesday 236

DSCF1846
Hi everyone!  It’s Tuesday and that means Try Stampin’ On Tuesday has a new challenge for us.  Check out this sketch:
The option is to make this a gate-fold card if you like!
We are enjoying beautiful fall-like weather here in SE PA this week, which should make me feel like stamping an autumnal card, but instead, I chose some pretty florals from my favorite Pretty Petals paper stack!  I paired them with the sweet little Cottage Greetings set:

The banner diecut is from the Mini Treat Bag thinlet; I added a little Very Vanilla designer button and some green cord from my stash.  I hand-cut the Calypso Coral mat for the banner.  Looking at it now, I wish I had moved up the sentiment banner a wee bit, but it’s stuck down fast, so it will have to do!
I stamped another sentiment on a scrap of DSP for the inside as well:

I hope you’ll play along with us this week too!  You can share your creation on the TSOT blog, or check out our Facebook page as well!
Cassidy and her little friend Sully at church on Sunday during our church picnic;  Sully’s mom and my daughter grew up together and shared lots of youth group activities!  The tradition continues!

  1. So pretty. Love the mix of patterns against the contrast of the black. Cassidy is looking awful sweet in her Sunday finest! Her little friend is adorable, too!

  4. I pinned this card a long time ago; I just love it: the font, the colors and the mix of patterned papers from the Pretty Petals stack. Was this 5"x 5" or larger? I'm having a hard time figuring out the sizes of each layer. Thanks for sharing! :-)

    1. Unfortunately, this card is long gone, sent in the mail, but I am judging that the base was 5 1/2". If you email me (my address is at the top sidebar) I can try to give you measurements.
