Happy Thursday, peeps! Another sympathy card today, this one using Arielle’s Retrosketches sketch and the ColourQ color palette, neither of which I’ve played with in quite a while:
First, I flipped the sketch so my little bird wouldn’t be staring off into space! I used a Sahara Sand card base and stamped the Dictionary background stamp on it with Versamark so it wasn’t too dark. Then I went to work on my elements:
I had a scrap of textured Soft Sky in my scrap pile, so I stamped it with a MFT Distressed Background Blocks stamp, then added a diecut bird and some diecut leaves from the same Lawn Fawn set as yesterday’s card:
Same Petite Pairs sentiment too, since it was already on my desk! Thanks for visiting today!
So sweet! I love that little bird and the background stamping. The ribbon has always been one of my favorites…I think I still have a little bit somewhere! Cassidy is looking the a big girl these days!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I have been stopping by but I still get the message that you don't get my comments. So I only leave them once in a while now. But you know I always love your cards. And I especially love seeing your sweet little Cassidy.

Linda
