Happy Tuesday, peeps! I strayed from my SU goodies to make a seasonal card today, using the sketch from Match The Sketch:
and the Kraft Journal’s challenge of Anything Goes-Pumpkin, and the City Crafter Challenge of “Fall”!! I jump at any chance to use this little W+9 Pumpkin, so I put it to use with some Simple Stories Harvest Lane DSP, a Darice embossing folder and a Lil Inker’s Stitched Circles die:
I did use a strip of SU DSP from Farmer’s Market, along with some Linen Thread; card base is Delightful Dijon, circle is Crumb Cake, and I’ve used mats of Tip Top Taupe, Old Olive and Tangelo Twist. Ink colors are Tangelo Twist, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler. My sentiment is from Mixed Holiday Sentiments by My Creative Time! I plan to put a birthday sentiment on the inside for a special fall b-day!
And speaking of pumpkins, we picked our first one yesterday….we only have 8 more, and they’re small, but we’re thrilled to have some that actually grew!
Enjoy your day!
This just screams fall from the papers, the image, the embossed background and texture you added to the card. I love this! Cassidy looks pleased as punch to be carrying that pumpkin. :)
ReplyDeleteOh how I love everything about this card, LeAnne. I love the fun fall embossing folder, the pumpkin, the stitched circles, the linen thread, the DSP! A fabulous card all around. Super Stamp Girl (Crystal)
