Happy Wednesday, peeps! Just a quick card today…I am in the throes of a sinus thing, feeling a wee bit washed out! The colors from the ColourQ challenge cheered me up…this inspiration photo cracked me up, actually:
and I paired it with the sketch from Technostamper:
to make a little thank-you card for a customer:
I have a 4 1/4” square card base in Crumb Cake on which I stamped the Dictionary stamp in Sahara Sand; the image is from the SAB set Lotus Blossom, stamped in Strawberry Slush and Rose Red and mounted on some SS DSP and the Best Year Ever DSP from the SAB catalog. I just love the vintage vs. fresh look! My sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, and I stamped a little background from A Fitting Occasion and used the Itty Bitty Framelits to cut it out:
My Chocolate Chip scallop is from the Circle Card Thinlits…that little set comes in handy, there are lots of cool dies in there!
Doing some artwork with watercolors and crayons!
She was quite intent on it, too! Enjoy your day!
I just got this gorgeous stamp (or ordered it anyway)...love how you have used it and especially with the dictionary background stamp. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeletePretty card and pretty colors.
ReplyDeleteCassidy looks like she is having fun.
Hope your sinus problem clears up quickly.
While I love the beautiful bloom and your wonderful design, my favorite part is that tiny polka dot thank you banner!! I can't wait for Penelope to color and get all into her little artsy self like Cassidy does!!
ReplyDeleteLove this color combo, I may have to try to get a card done in time to play along. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge again this week, love your card. Also love seeing the pictures of Cassidy! She is growing so fast!
ReplyDeleteI love this! The dictionary print background, the water-color-y look of the paper and the flower - it's all gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet photos! And your card is just beautiful...love that tulip! Thank you so much for playing along with us at ColourQ, hope to see you again next week.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love how you used the colors.
ReplyDeleteHey LeAnne - what a beauty! The lotus blossom is so pretty, it looks good enough to pick right off the card. And it looks like craftiness runs in the family! Glad you joined in this week!
ReplyDeleteI love this lotus in these colors, LeAnne! Bright and pretty! Looks like a budding artist there.
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable card! I so love the colours and the way you have incorporated this fab sketch too! Kx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, LeAnne, sorry about your sinus...I think it is plaguing all of us! How about snow, are you underneath a pile of it yet? Love Cassidy's coloring and painting...she will be a stamper for sure! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteForgot why I came, LeAnne, thanks for sharing your card with us at the colourQ.
