Just a quick little post today….my main focus this Saturday will be WRAPPING!!! And I still have some shopping and baking to do too! Yikes! Anyway, I couldn’t pass up this beautiful inspiration photo from Just Add Ink this week:
I made a birthday card using the set Midwinter from Artistic Outpost; I usually use it for Christmas cards, but I thought it was a lovely image to use for a birthday as well:
I stamped the scene in Chocolate Chip ink, adding a few more trees in the background with Crumb Cake by masking off the cabin with some post-it notes. I added a sentiment from Papertrey, some narrow burlap ribbon and some snowy glitter.
Thanks for visiting today!
The sun has been MIA for about a week, so when it turned bright yesterday afternoon, we went outside….still cold, cold, cold, but at least we got some fresh air!
So much fresh air, that as soon as Cassidy got into the car to go home, this happened:
She’s asleep in her car seat…..totally out….head practically on her lap!!! LOL!
What a lovely card, LeAnne! I love the little bunny superimposed on the front. Such a great layout. Cassidy looks so grown up now! All that cold air and fun time with Grandma tuckered her out. :)
ReplyDeleteHope your day is a productive one - after a busy week on the road, I'm baking and wrapping today. And also hoping to finish my Christmas cards today. They'll be late this year, but they are still going to go out even if they are postmarked 12/24! :)
Wow, wow, wow! I LOVE this card. Such a lovely scene!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your wrapping!
Happy Holidays!
beautiful card! here in Wisconsin we haven't seen more than a few minutes of sunshine in a couple weeks, so dreary, and no chance of accumulating snow for a white Christmas .. hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful card, LeAnne - that is a gorgeous scene and the extra trees really add to the overall effect.

ReplyDeleteLeAnne, I LOVE your card! A simple touch, but one I just love, is stamping an image on the sentiment panel. Such a nice detail. Thanks for joining in the fun at Just Add Ink this week; it's great to have you play along. :)
