Happy Wednesday, everyone! Hope your week is going well! Sadly, sympathy cards are a necessity of life, and I needed one this week. I pulled out some Flowerpot DSP, which I don’t think I ever used, and the sketch from Mary Jo’s Technostamper challenge this week:
And here we go, using an oldie but goodie, Lovely as a Tree:
In order to make the tree a little more visible, I inked up my stamp first in Versamark, then in Early Espresso ink, stamped on the DSP and then heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used an aquapainter to quickly fill in the tree’s trunk with EE ink, and sponge daubered the leaves:
My sentiments are from Thoughts & Prayers, and on the inside, I stamped the tree again in Sahara Sand….I really like the soft look it creates:
Thanks for visiting today!
We made a trip last week to the local farm for some pumpkins:
Enjoy your day!

Burlap is perfect somehow on a sympathy card. A lovely card. I really like how you repeated the tree inside, I must remember to do it more often!
