Happy Wednesday, everyone! Yay, the middle of the week…downhill from here! The Kraft Journal has a fun color challenge this week:
and that vintage image inspired me to print out a vintage Halloween postcard and use it to adorn a box I created with the Gift Box Punch Board:
I used some of SU’s new Under the Tree Specialty DSP, which is heavier than regular DSP and makes great boxes! Here are the front and back views:
and the top is a rosette, not attached, so the box can be opened, but adorned with some glittery bats and tied up with black organdy ribbon:
I had a ton of fun making this too….I really wanted to add some more Halloweeny images, but I kept it pretty simple! And I am sorry, I don’t know from where this postcard came, it was just one of the plethora I have saved on my computer!!! And Try Stampin' On Tuesday has a "Spooks & Other Scary Things" non-card challenge, so I am entering my treat box in that as well! Take care, and have a great day! I didn't do a recipe for this project, so if you have any questions, send me an email!!!
Cassidy getting into making cupcakes….again! This girl loves to bake (and eat) cupcakes!
I keep a little piece of non-skid rubber under the bowl so it doesn’t slide out from under the mixer!!!
Now who wouldn't want to get goodies in an adorable box like this? Fabulous and so perfect for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun Halloween box LeAnn, I like the vintage images!! Mmmm what time will the cupcakes, be done ;)
ReplyDeleteHi LeAnne, I'm always so impressed with your card creations and other craft designs and this one is no different. Love the spooky, but sweet, children's images on the gift box. Thanks for joining us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday this week!
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE this goodie box! I would like to get a treat in a box like this! By the way, there is nothing better than licking the batter while cooking! Cassidy looks like a great helper! XX
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, LeAnne. I really love the black seam binding you've used. Thanks for playing along, and please join us again tomorrow for another great challenge.

LeAnne, what a cute and fun goodie box for Halloween! I always make a few for my daughter to give to her kids (that she nannies)...and then she forgets to give them the boxes! lol Thanks for joining us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday.
