Happy Thursday, peeps! Try Stampin’ on Tuesday has a sketch and Back to School Theme this week:
I had made a card on Monday and posted it to Splitcoast Stampers using this vintage line of pencils; this panel was my “practice” piece, and when I saw the sketch, I retrieved it, trimmed it down a bit and created my card:
I used a Not Quite Navy card base and a piece of DSP from Park Lane; the image was stamped on Crumb Cake and colored in with markers. I used a Darice ruler EF, and some cool natural rickrack I got at an local fabric store. I cut out two of the pencils and adhered them to a Curvy Keepsake tag for the upper embellishment:
The sentiment is from And Many More. Thanks for visiting today!
I took Cassidy to the little ice cream/candy store that just relocated to our nearest shopping center (that could be dangerous, right?!) and told her she could pick out any piece of candy she wanted! She chose a little chocolate elephant on a stick and we sat in the ice cream cone chairs outside:
Enjoy your day!
Love your card! Great colors, perfect for back to school! And a candy/ice cream store in the nearest shopping center to my house would be very dangerous. ;) Thanks for joining us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday. Hope to see you again soon!
ReplyDeleteShe is growing so fast, look how she posed for the camera this time.
ReplyDeleteI must say I missed the post about the cast, did she break a bone? Yikes.
Awww, LeeAnne , she just brightens my day !!
ReplyDeleteThank you !!

Love your card and the vintage coloring of the pencil panel. Cute photos- it definitely looks like the arm isn't bothering her a bit- more like a pink accessory now. :)
ReplyDeleteThose pencils are so cool and I love the way you colored them!! Looks like Cassidy is doing great!!
