Happy Monday, peeps! I trust you had a good weekend! Debbie is our challenge hostess this week at Merry Monday, and check out the fun theme she’s chosen:
My first instinct was to use a vintage digital image, but I couldn’t find one that I liked! Then I thought I would use Loads of Love, but I thought it might get used a lot and I wanted something different. In the end, I went with a WHEEL….can you believe it?! The name of it is Time for a Tree, and it has the same feel as Load of Love, but is a wee bit cuter, I think:
I inked up the wheel in Black Stazon, then just colored them in with markers—so fun and easy, I felt like I was back in the early days of my SU demo-ship! The paper is from a big 6x6 stack from DCWV, and I just stamped directly onto the paper, then mounted it on a Marina Mist card. I added some sparkly get pen to the little snowflakes too, just for fun, and added a big felt snowflake and a glimmer brad next to my MFT sentiment.
And tell me you can’t read this without getting that song in your head, LOL!!! And since Linda’s Catered Crop challenge this week is “New Again”, and I used an old wheel, I am entering it there as well!
I hope you’ll play with us at the Merry Monday this week….Christmas will be here before you know it, so it’s a great way to get a head start on those cards!
The morning that Cassidy broke her wrist, we made homemade play-doh, coloring it blue, green and yellow:
She made some cookies and a “cake” and we took it to the patio for a snack!
Yum, yum! Enjoy your day!
