Hi everyone! I have another Christmas card to share today; usually I post my cards on Monday, but the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown had a Nordic challenge, so I combined it with the Freshly Made Sketches sketch 155 by my sweet friend Karren:
Since the Trim the Tree DSP stack has some wonderful Nordic designs, I knew just which papers to use:
I added a white embossed panel and a little tag I punched with the Scallop Tag Topper punch. I created a plaid background with the Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp in Sahara Sand and Craft White….since it’s polymer, it was a snap to line up!
I used the retired Stitched Stocking stamp and punch for my stocking, and added some of that yummy Cherry Cobbler linen ribbon from the Holiday mini, tied with a piece of baker’s twine. I had a lot of fun making this card!
A couple more fair pictures; this is our favorite activity of all! One of the vendors that sells chicks, ducks and feeds, has been doing this for many, many years; this was one of Dana’s favorites when she was little too! I didn’t get good pictures of the activity itself, but basically, the ducklings walk up an incline and try to eat the food at the top. The food tray is placed just a little out of their way, which causes them to slide down the slide and quickly waddle around to go up the incline again! The kids were laughing hysterically, which made me laugh too:
Enjoy your day!
I love how warm and woolly your card is LeAnne!
