Happy Friday, peeps! The end of the work week and a holiday ahead for us Americans! I am sharing a couple of 4 1/4” square cards today…these are a fun little change from the standard A2 size! The first one uses a new In Color, Lost Lagoon, and I think it looks great with Soft Sky and Pistachio Pudding:
I stamped the flowers from Summer Silhouettes in Lost Lagoon; one was “full-strength” and the second was stamped again without reinking. I also stamped the gingham panel (from the Gingham wheel that I unmounted from the wheel and added to cling mount to make it into a stamp) in Soft Sky and added some Soft Sky seam binding. The sentiment on the front is from Something to Say and on the inside, a fun little sentiment from Num Num:
My second card used a scrap of DP I had laying on my desk and the new Endless Birthday Wishes stamp along with the new File Tabs Edgelits.
I wasn’t sure what I would use these File Tabs for, but the “celebrate” sentiment fit on the tab perfectly:
I stamped the rest of the sentiment on a Chalk Talk diecut in Real Red and Pacific Point, and added some stars, glittered up as I did on the hearts from this post:
Since my diecut goes off the side of the card, I am entering this in the Addicted to CAS challenge 38, “Off the Edge”!
A little pudding enjoyment:
And our baby robins have hatched! Not too attractive, but here they are:
Hopefully, they’ll be opening their eyes soon and mama will be busy feeding them!
Enjoy your day!
Looks like Cassidy and I have something in common--a love for chocolate pudding!

Two fabulous cards LeAnne! Love the soft colors of your first card ... and of course, the gingham (LOVE IT!) :)
ReplyDeleteYour "off the edge" birthday card is so happy. Bright colors, polka-dots, and a fun design. Those stars are so sparkly! Thanks for joining us at ATCAS.
The best part of making pudding is the taste testing :) Cassidy is ADORABLE! Loll xx
VEry pretty cards. I especially like the first one - such soft colors.
