Happy Monday, peeps! Time for another Merry Monday challenge; today Sue has a beautiful inspiration for us:
I love this “noel” image, and an idea came to mind immediately to use my Lovely Letters set to spell out “noel”, but I have done that a couple times before, so I decided to go in another direction:
I used my Lil’Inkers “jolly” die along with a CTMH Santa image to make a jolly card! Each letter has a pearl on it that I colored with a zig gold painty pen, and then I added some additional gold foil embellishments:
I used some Authentique Two Christmases in One papers, stamping my wee Santa in Real Red ink on the same paper I used for my horizontal panel, then mounting him on a olive-hued circle:
You can see that I also did some machine-stitching along the edges for fun! I used the other portion of the circular diecut to make a panel for the sentiment I stamped inside my card:
The design team has come up with some fabulous creations for this challenge as well, so be sure to fly on over to the Merry Monday blog to check them all out, and play along with us too!
Showing Grampy her loot!
