PPA197 & CCMC296

DSCF1760

Yay, it’s Friday!  I am happy to have the weekend to look forward to!  Today’s card is for the Pals Paper Arts sketch from the talented Nicole:
PPA197 March 27
as well as the intriguing color combo from Create with Connie & Mary:

CCMC296

One of my downline let me borrow her On Film Framelits, so I paired it with Around the World and  Petite Pairs to make a little friendship card, after seeing Ginger's beautiful card here:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Stampin Up Around the World

I stamped my own DP with the camera images from Around the World, then I added a little “lens” on the diecut camera with the silver foil paper:

I added the sentiment on the inside with another little scallop of the foil, too:

This was an interesting color scheme as well as a fun sketch…hope you like it!

What starts out as an innocent coloring session:

turns into a case of blue hands…on paper as well as skin!

She likes it when I trace around her hands…but now she knows we have to do it with a PENCIL!  And I also see some on the floor…Magic Eraser to the rescue!  Enjoy your day!

  6. Lol. When I read what you wrote "what starts out as an innocent coloring session" I thought you were going to say "turns into a stamping obsession"! Maybe it will :)
Your card is fantastic. I love the lens cover and that you carried that over into the inside of the card. I also think the sentiment is perfect. It is a work of art. Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary.

  7. Haha - that did look like a fairly innocent colouring session to begin with and I was going to say how good and peaceful it looked....and then the last picture made it all take a different turn. The joys of markers I guess;) Still I'm sure it was a lot of fun.
I like what you did with these framelits on your card. I wasn't quite sure what I'd do with them so passed on them. You've shown them off so well. I love the DP you created with the camera stamps. Pretty card.
    Have a great weekend.

  8. *sigh* wood flooring. When we were kids my little brother and I had wood floors in our bedrooms. They are the best for little kids to play on-such nice surfaces for so much!

Love your card. I didn't know that the camera die also impressed such detail into it. Now I have to rethink that set and die.
