Hey, everyone! It’s Sunday….time for a new Paper Players challenge! Jaydee is our hostess and she has a fine challenge for us this week:
Ooooh, aren’t those colors gorgeous!!! They make my heart sing! I think Crisp Cantaloupe is one of the prettiest peachy colors SU has ever made, and I couldn’t wait to use some of it on my card this week:
I used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch 127 (because I love that too!):
When I received the Bright Blossoms stamp set, I cut apart all the stems, flowers and vases so I could interchange them more easily! I stamped the vase and flowers in the Cantaloupe, and the stem in Pistachio Pudding. A PP In Color Boutique Detail “button” was a perfect addition to my CAS card:
I added a little piercing to the bottom of the banner, and my final addition was some embossing using the Needlepoint Border EF.
I am sure it won’t be difficult for you to come up with a clean and simple springy creation this week! Share it with us at the Paper Players blog, and while you’re there, check out what the designers did this week:
I am not quite sure what Cassidy was doing with her play-doh to her doll, but she was obviously quite animated about it!Luckily, it washes off easily!! Enjoy your day!

Love this card! The colors are so soft they remind me of eating melon in the summer time!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet! And I love the fact that you cut apart the stamps......great idea! Looks Ike Dolly is getting a fancy spa treatment!
ReplyDeletesweet! love that button!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love that little green flower. That is very cool.
ReplyDeleteShe must be giving her a facial. LOL

Uh oh baby doll! You have playdoh on you, lol!! Ok, I have been waiting to see what you would do with the sketch and sooo worth the wait. Love this! The little touch of embossing and those gorgeous colors!! Glad to see you this week at FMS!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card Leann ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card LeAnne! I love that embossed border! The flower and button remind me of spring! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeletePretty spring card LeAnne, love the sweet button too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, LeAnne! Love these colors together and how you used the awesome sketch!
ReplyDeleteCassidy is quite the little ham. haha
I love these soft, sweet colors, too! Definately feels like spring. Love all the white space and the single flower in the vase. And of course, that cute embelli!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful CAS style card! love the color combo too :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful LeAnne. The colors are lovely and that added row of embossing finishes it off perfectly. Wasn't that a great sketch!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so crisp, fresh, and pretty, LeAnne! Love it!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, LeAnne! You always rock this set and what a great idea to cut them all apart. Love the piercing at the bottom of the banner and how it echoes the DSP and the images. Great take on the sketch too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet and springy! Great idea to cut these stamps apart. More mileage! I believe Cassidy is giving her doll a facial! I seem to remember someone doing my face all up in green goop way back when.
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day Cassidy will let you in on the secret of the green play doh on her doll's face:) It must have something very important.
ReplyDeleteI love your soft colour combo card. The CAS style is perfect for these colours.
What a great idea to cut apart the stamp to add the colors more easily! You are so smart LeAnne! Your card is so soft and pretty. I just love the pop of embossed detail, too so pretty and perfect for spring. Cassidy's face in that photo...haha! She's a little ham! :)
ReplyDeleteThis card is so fresh and Spring-like; love the embossing across the white panel too.
ReplyDeleteLeAnne, I agree.... it is one of the most amazing colors, but I love Pistachio Pudding, too! I do hope they keep them around :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this card. It's a wonderful use of the sketch and the little button is fabulous. The embossed border is a great way to keep the eye moving all the way around the card.
Thank you for rocking my challenge!
Hugs
Jaydee
Such soft pretty colors in your card. You always add these extra touches that really bring out the best in your card--like the wee embossed strip across your card.
