Paper Players 186

DSCF1319

Hi peeps!  Are you ready for another Paper Players challenge?  Anne Marie is our hostess and she has chosen a fabulous color challenge for us today:

I just love this!!!  But sadly, I needed another sympathy card, a masculine one this time, so I thought the colors were perfect.  I hate for my sympathy cards to be too terribly dark:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Paper Players 186 Simply Stars Sympathy

This man was a firefighter, and our trucks are yellow…..so the colors seemed appropriate as well!  I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch, some washi tape, the Gorgeous Grunge, Simply Stars and Teeny Tiny Wishes sets as well as a few other accents.  I used the CAS(e) This Sketch sketch 67  for this week for my layout:

Hope you will be inspired with these lovely colors to create something as well, and be sure to share it with us at the Paper Players blog!  Meanwhile, check out what the team did with the colors:

  1. Oh, LeAnne, I am so sorry you had to create another sympathy card. The symbolism behind it with the Crushed Curry tag will surely bring comfort to the family. It's a wonderful design.

  11. Those are such lovely colors together. I think your card is great. I really like that it is a sympathy card and in those colors. It proves sympathy cards don't have to be somber.
