Happy Monday, peeps! How was your weekend? I am suffering from a wee bit of a cold or allergies…so I had a sniffly weekend to go along with lots of rain! But I was not deterred from making a Christmas card for this week’s Merry Monday challenge, which is to use or make mistletoe:
I only have a couple of mistletoe stamps, so I went to my stash of vintage Christmas postcard digital images and came up with this one from Crafty Secrets of a little girl whispering in a mistletoe-and-holly-clad Santa’s ear:
The image was pretty colorful, and I don’t usually use this many colors on a card, but I embraced them, LOL! All the papers are digital, also from CS, and I did stamp a PTI mistletoe image in Versamark on the green panel and dabbed on some green chalk to give it a subtle look:
I hope you’ll stop by the Merry Monday blog to see the other wonderful mistletoe creations, and to share yours as well! Hope to see you there!
I was working on some projects for an upcoming class, and Cassidy wanted to make a card too! Here she is cutting out some flowers with the Big Shot, and she knows exactly what to do:
Sponging some color:
And the final project:
Charming vintage image LeAnne and the sentiment goes with it perfectly! Cassidy did a great job on her cute blooming card!

ReplyDeleteI think that little sprite is whispering in Santa's ear telling him who has been naughty and who has been nice (or even naughtier). I love the greeting and the piece you put it on. It really kept with the vintage feel.
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous card, LeAnne! Your mistletoe-laden Santa is fabulous! Love Cassidy's flowers too! Not surprised at all that she knows her way around the Big Shot!
