Happy Saturday, peeps! Have you shoveled out from under the snow and ice the east coast received this week? More due tonight, I hear! Yikes! Spring cannot come too soon, right? I had some stampy time on Thursday (a big snow day!) and I was determined to use up some scraps from the little pack of Fresh Prints that I had…..it seems like it goes on forever! What a great value! My first card uses Mary Jo’s Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch 301:
and I also put to use a SAB set, Banner Blast:
I stamped the banners twice and punched them out, cutting off the points and adhering them together under the red ribbon to make them a bit longer. I added stars and a sentiment from Make A Wish to finish it off. My friend has ordered some birthday cards, so this will be a good start! And here are the rest, just using scraps of the Fresh Prints pad:
Now I think I am ready for a different color combo! Come back tomorrow when you’ll see my Paper Players creation….I am the hostess, too! Can’t wait!
A little snow fun:
Since the snow was too deep to sled, Grampy made a ramp using the snow from the driveway! It worked great! Good thing we got some sledding time in, as this is now all scooped away with Uncle Raymond’s tractor!
Once inside, instead of hot chocolate, some hot vanilla (warm milk, sugar and vanilla):
Enjoy your day!

Warm vanilla milk sounds wonderful on a cold snowy day. The weather just won't let up will it?
ReplyDeleteFun cards. It is always nice to have a stash. Your friend is smart to have you make them.
Have a wonderful day.
I LOVE how you extended the tiny banners! Great set of cards, LeAnne! It was 56 here yesterday and raining this morning so the snow is going away fast. The birds all look much smaller now that it's warmed up.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to make the banners longer. I love the stars on there too. All of the cards are wonderful, I love this color combo. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteYou made some great cards with scraps. Love every one of them. I know what you mean about the snow. We got another storm yesterday but only got 5 1/2". I'm so over winter but it won't leave!
ReplyDeleteJust finished a little shoveling- small area but a few inches last night. I think I am tired of this snow! But it sure looks sweet with Cassidy atop it! Love the cards- of course, your designs are always fun especially with the Fresh Prints! Stay warm, LeAnne;)
ReplyDeletelove the colors and patterns on these papers!
ReplyDeleteA pretty collection of cards today LeAnne! I like the colors, the first one has a nautical feel to it! Cassidy looks like she's really enjoying all of the snow!!
ReplyDeleteGreat set of cards, LeAnne! Love these colors together! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love the cards you made with the pattern paper, LeAnne! I'm kind of a pattern paper nut myself so I love seeing what other people do with it!

Too deep to go sledding, that's a sad thing. Luckily grampy to the rescue so fun was had by all. Your cards are all very lovely. That is such a fun and spunky color combo.
