Happy Friday, peeps! Do you feel all mixed up this week? I am not sure what day it feels like, but we got inches and inches of snow last night and it is COLD!!! Staying inside all day today, that’s for sure! Meanwhile, I was able to play with some pretty colors yesterday, courtesy of the Pals Paper Arts challenge this week:
I’ve been so used to making Christmas cards, it’s nice to use some of my neglected colors and papers! This one uses the Thinlits Circle Card die, Mosaic Madness and Quatrefancy DP:
I heat embossed the border and one of the mosaics in gold embossing powder, and diecut the “thx” from a gold foil circle. The little sequins are leftovers that always fall off the end of my string of sequins, so I glued them on for a little extra sparkle:
Here’s a little different view:
Thanks for visiting---stay warm!
Cassidy just opened her gifts from Grampy’s parents yesterday….I thought she was getting a tool box, but four vintage Beanie Babies were wrapped in tissue and stuffed in the little wooden box…really cute! She really loved the flamingo…although her other Mom Mom may confiscate it, as she loves them too!
Its name is “Pinky”, by the way!
Love that embossed gold.....great accent! And I have some of those straggling sequins around my house too.....they show up everywhere! Very stylish card! And when my mother downsized to her apt. She had over 300 beanie babies to get rid of! We were giving them away to everyone who bought something at her garage sale! And yet somehow she still manages to produce one now and then out of a stash somewhere for Emma!
ReplyDeleteSuper cool and trendy card, LeAnne. Love that gold embossing and the DSP. You always make me smile when I open your posts in my email! During our move last month, I found two big bags of beanie babies my sons- 23 and 26- had in their closet. Funny, could not find my daughters? They are so cute- Cassidy will have so much fun with them!
ReplyDeleteLove your card you beautiful friend LeAnne. Yes I too have those sequins everywhere. Do they still make Beanie Babies. LOL! I haven't looked for them since I quit selling Longaberger. That was a about 20 years ago now. Wow! Just realized that. Have a good day.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute, LeAnne! I love the different shapes and designs you brought together. They all work so well together! I still have a few Beanie Babies around here as well... Can't believe the craze was 15 - 20+ years ago. YIKES!
