Howdy, peeps! How is this Tuesday treating you? Arielle has a fun color combo for us today at the ColourQ, but I am telling you, my mojo has headed south! I made two projects with these colors and neither one really makes me happy. And I love the colors….well, that’s how it goes some days! Here ya go:
I’ll show you my second project first; I am always needing masculine birthday cards, and I made this real simple one with SU’s Rev Up the Fun:
I used the sketch 297 from Technostamper for this week as well:
This card will be for our friend Mark, who is not a bells-and-whistles kind of guy, so I kept the card simple….the most exciting thing was ripping the Island Indigo cardstock!!! And it’s already been delivered with a little loaf of pumpkin-craisin bread, so I know he’ll enjoy it!
My original project was three little 3x4” thank you cards; my sweet friend Ellen gave me a Technique Tuesday set of stamps so I embossed the circular elements, then colored in the rest with a blender pen and markers:
They’re cute and I’ll use them, but they just didn’t make me jump up & down! I hope that you can create something with them that will make YOU jump up & down….and share it with us over at the ColourQ blog!
Playing in the button can!
Yep, the thank you cards make me jump up and down, figuratively, at least. Love how you combined the colours in them and left the flourish peeking out.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun to play with buttons.....I love getting my hands into a bucket of buttons and feeling them spill over my hands.
ReplyDeleteSweet Thank you cards. I love that little flourish. Wonderful masculine card. I like the tire trends here and there.
I really love the motorcycle card. Great choice of stamps for the layout. The colors really work with it. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteThey're all just terrific LeAnne. Love the tire tread marks on the first one! Cassidy is my kind of girl...it IS fun to put your hands into a big bunch of buttons!!
ReplyDeleteThat motor cycle image is so cool and the tire tracks in the background are brilliant! And your trio of thank you cards is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love your motorbike card! I know someone who would love that!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card - especially the tire tracks in the background, awesome. Cx
