Paper Players 154

DSCF6462

Happy Sunday, peeps!  Hope your weekend has been swell so far!  Today the lovely, talented Nance is our hostess with an awesome color challenge for us:

Aren’t they fun?  I had all sorts of ideas in my head, but I had one stamp set I hadn’t inked up yet, Around the World, so I got to stamping, stamping, stamping, as my friend Linda says, and made my own designer paper since I didn’t have any in the challenge colors!  No problem!

Paper Players 153 Around the World LeAnne Pugliese

Because of the size of the images, I had some white space between them, so I filled them in with some little images from the Itty Bitties set, sort of keeping with the traveling theme!  I used some elements from the Tag a Bag Accessority kit---the label and the twine---to add some interest:

And did you know that the 1” circle punch fits the hexagons from the Six-Sided Sampler set?  How cool is that?  In fact, that made me so excited, I came up with another card just using those polka dots…but you’ll have to come back later for that!  I also added some chevron embossing and a little zigzag trim!  And since this will be for my BIL, who is a pilot, I am entering this in the ART challenge 5, which is for masculine birthdays!

How about “traveling” on over to the Paper Players blog so you can see what the others came up with?  And share your project with us too!  Can’t wait to see it!

Having some fun in the sun (what little we had this week) with cousin Trent:

Enjoy your day!

  13. Oh my gosh, LeAnne! I actually squealed when I saw this on the blog...{squeal}!! LOVE it and your hand-stamped DSP is to die for. I really did think it was DSP and had to go looking in the catty until I figured out you stamped it! Fabulous job spacing the images and the little fussy-cut camera is perfect! Thanks for rockin' my colors this week! ((hugs))
