Happy Monday, peeps! I have been having a wonderful time with my college roommates….so wonderful, I almost forgot to post this! I haven’t laughed so hard in a long, long time! But anyway, it’s time for Lesley’s Merry Monday challenge, and here is your sketch:
I finally broke into my hoarded CTMH papers for today’s card, pairing it with some retired SU paper from last year’s Sale-a-bration:
To make it “match” a bit more, I added a swirl in craft white and then overstamped it with the Linen BG stamp. I also used the Linen stamp on my banner as well as the Little Leaves diecut. A few beige pearls were all I needed to complete my simple card!
I hope you’ll play along with the sketch and increase your Christmas card stash! We can’t wait to see what you create! You can see all the samples at Lesley’s blog, Always Playing with Paper!
Dana brought Cassidy over to meet my roommates:
Learning to shake hands:
and we also had a wonderful dinner out:
It looks like you had a great time with your friends. Love your card this week. The leaf diecut with those pearls is just amazing. I am definitely stealing that idea.
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of this one- the papers are fabulous! I'm sure your weekend was a blast with catching up with roomies. How's your foot? Were you able to get around Longwood? That's definitely a walk.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, I love that patterned paper! Looks like you're having a blast with your roomies!
ReplyDeleteI love this CTMH paper. I almost bought some for my hoard, but decided I really needed to use some of what I have first! I love how you paired it with the SAB paper and the linen stamping adds great texture. I'm glad you had a great time with your friends.
ReplyDeletehappy monday to you!! such a cool card...lovve that paper!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this card I initially thought it was Allisa's - I just love these papers from CTMH - they really say Christmas to me. Love how you've used the Linen stamp to add extra interest to your leaves and cardstock!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing some pictures of you and your friends from the weekend. Cassidy looks so shy meeting them - so sweet.
ReplyDeleteWonderful card today - love the paper and "mistletoe" clusters.

ReplyDeleteLove your blog makeover Leanne. I had to look hard at your card too; seeing your name and not Allisa's! I love these CTMH papers they always make a fantastic card. I like the way you used the Linen stamp to create a match for your card and papers.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I think it is so funny everyone thought this was my card! I am obviously known for making a ton of cards with these papers. Sadly I only have a few scraps left! Love your card and it caught my eye right away!
