Just sort of experimenting with some new things today---this new color, Crisp Cantaloupe, is right up my peachy-shade-lovin’ alley!! Especially with Calypso Coral! I am still fooling around with Mosaic Madness, too:
I embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum, but it didn’t stand out quite well enough, so I added a second piece behind it…..then I stamped on the back of it, too! Just a little line design from the same set! Gave it a little bit of color and hid the dimensionals!
This sketch is from the Monday Lunchtime Sketch:
I already know who this is going to, too!!
I may be MIA for a couple of days….my college roommates are coming for a visit…all three of them! So I will be busy yakking with them over the weekend! It will be 40 years since we have all three been together at one time!!! I can’t wait! But I’ll be back on Sunday with my Paper Players card for sure!
Oh….did you know that a piece of cheese, still in the wrapper, will stick to the kitchen door? It does!
Gorgeous, LeAnne! Love the colors, and you stamped the images so perfectly in place. Great tip about stamping on vellum, and about cheese, LOL!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! Love the colors together and the sentiment is amazing. How did you hide the dimensionals?!?! Oh, tell Cassidy thanks for the scientific info about the cheese wrapper! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow great experiment(s). Love the card very clever to stamp in the embossing. LOVE That. And of course the cheese experiment was so successful. Oh she is one bright little cookie!

ReplyDeleteI love the corals and can't wait to get into the Cantaloupe! Cameo Coral was one of my all time favorites! Love the way you did the vellum sentiment! And I think the cheese would stick even better out of the wrapper!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely stunning LeAnne - love how you're showing off these beautiful new products!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love how you laid out the shapes on the embossed paper. This is such a great color! Love it. I was sure I did not need this set and/or folder but you and a few others may have be buying it really soon! Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
