Happy Wednesday! I actually made something other than a card!! Amazing! The Nacho Average Challenge had a pretty color palette:
although I didn’t pay attention to the Rose Red and used a few elements of Primrose Petals…..although I don’t think you can tell too much. Anyhoo, I pulled out a little cello bag from last year and threw on a bunch of embellishments:
I began by embossing the top with the hearts EF from Adorning Accents, and used the heart-shaped doily from the Artisan Embellishments Kit as a base. I just kept adding elements until I felt I had enough….well, can you ever really have enough, LOL!? This also qualifies for Shopping Our Stash Challenge, which is to use your oldest bling! The little heart-shaped rhinestones are probably some of my oldest, that’s for sure!!!
Most of the stamping is from SU’s retired set, PS: I Love You; I did break out my new Papillion Potpourri and it’s coordinating punch, though! Sweet! AND the new pinwheel die! Now, what should I put in this? Maybe a big cookie or a few candies? Hmmmm…I haven’t decided yet! If you have any questions about any of the products I used here, just shoot me an email! AND, I just saw Stampin' Royalty's Valentine/Love challenge....so I'll enter that there as well! :D
Miss Cassidy tried alphabet soup for the first time a couple days ago:
I would say she liked it! Thanks for visiting today!
Beautiful bag, LeAnne! I love the details you added and layers flow seamlessly. You, my friend, are the queen of texture when it comes to paper crafting! I know what you should do with this bag - fill it up with some of your gorgeous crinkled ribbon in different colors, lightly wrap in the tiny bubble wrap paper, place it into one of those larger bubble wrap mailers, take it to the post office and mail it to me! :) Problem solved!
ReplyDeleteLove the Valentine treat bag and can only imagine what is going to be inside it.
ReplyDeleteThis is SO adorable LeAnne ~ love all the embellishments on this! Cassidy....the sweetest little 2 yr old girl that I know!!!

ReplyDeleteDarling embellishing.
ReplyDeleteChristy said what I was thinking!! I was going to suggest taking it off your hands. You can even leave it empty and I won't mind!
ReplyDeleteI just love that bag.
Oh so beautiful bag!! I think a big home made cookie would be perfect inside it. And you can mail it directly to my house!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteMiss Cassidy looks like the soup was yummy, too!!
Happy Stamping to you both xoxo

beautiful bag!
ReplyDeleteI love all the embossing & texture on this - the ribbon roses & corrugated dies & the pinwheel...and everything :) So glad you could play with us at Shopping Our Stash this week!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, LeAnne! I took inspiration from this yesterday and made some bag toppers for little cello bags that have Valentine's socks in them for my daughters! Love all that you have on here to look at. So much pretty-ness! LOL Have I said how much I LOVE this??!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat interest and embossing! Thanks for playing along with the Nachos!
ReplyDeleteWell, isn't this beautiful! So many fun details to examine, and they all go together so well. I've decided I'm going to do something similar for my kids for Valentines Day -- dress up some glassine sacks and make some heart-shaped brownies to tuck inside. I'll sneak these in their lunch boxes on Thursday for a fun surprise. Their sacks won't be decorated as beautifully as yours as I think most of the details would be lost on them as they tear into the sacks to see what's inside. :)
ReplyDeleteoh ♥♥♥WOW♥♥♥!!! this would be amazing and GORGEOUS under ANY circumstances, but the fact that you've built that whole FAB♥U♥LOUS collage on top of the glassine bag... thus allowing for a card or small gift to be added... and perhaps be partially visible within... is actually EVEN COOLER!!! love love LOVE this idea!!!!!
ReplyDelete(ps: please tell miss cassidy that as usual, she has made me smile and laugh!!! pretty sure her own bowl of alphabet soup would just read, "cute, cute, CUTE!!!" :) :) :)
wonderful! Love the colors, different hearts and other embellies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
Hugs, Alica ;)
