Happy Monday, peeps! Christmas is over, but I still have lots of stamps I haven’t inked up yet!!! Thank goodness for Merry Monday—I can keep making Christmas cards all year long! 2013 is bringing a couple changes at Merry Monday…..in addition to sketches, we’ll be throwing in some color challenges as well! Check out today’s challenge:
And here we go:
I pulled out my Jolly Bingo Bits for this card, as well as a retired set called Perfect Presentation for the little tag! But this card has some other fun NEW stuff on it too!!
Can you see the embossed wavy lines on the card base? They were made with SU’s Borders Scoring Plate….what a cool tool that is! And see those little silver stars…..they’re from that Itty Bitties set (again!). The light cord was drawn freehand using the Silver Stampin’ Dazzle marker, which is still available to purchase!!! It’s all put together using the sketch 23 from Paper Craft Crew :
So don’t put your Christmas supplies away yet! Play along with us at Lesley’s blog, Always Playing with Paper, and get an early start on your holiday stash. I used every single Christmas card I made last year…..and I make a LOT of cards, so you can never have too many! Be sure to check out what the other designers created as well!
I was working ahead on next week’s MM card and stepped away from my desk for just a second…..and guess who jumped in my chair?
You’ll have to stop back next week to see what she was playing with!
Love those wavy lines on the card! Looks like someone may need her own desk and chair soon.
