The Kraft Journal’s Make it Monday challenge was to make a clean and simple card; unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card, and had this little bird fluttering around on my desk unused, so I put it to use:
I think this is probably a little unusual for a sympathy card, but I have used this tree image before for the same occasion, so I just “wintered” it up a bit with the cardinal. I even added a few little bird tracks in the snow!
I also wanted to share this little candy tree that I found recently from Brenda Quintana:
This girl is a GENIUS!!! This is so stinkin’ cute and easy as pie! She gives you directions for a single one AND multiples, if you’re making several, or have a class to do! I did wheel the outside of mine:
but it’s not necessary. I cut out several and my sister and nieces and I did them after our Thanksgiving dinner! I can’t wait to make some more! Thanks for visiting today!
Dana posted this on FB yesterday: ”Somebody learned how to use my camera!”…..
Love the photo of Cassidy. Micah likes to take my iPhone5 and take self portraits now that he nows how to use it.
