TSOT93 with Make It Monday

DSCF0986

I hope everyone in the US had a wonderful Thanksgiving day!  It was nice to spend time with my family.  I did have a little stamping time, and I got some new stampin’ goodies that were itching to get inky!  I was just playing around with some scraps when I stumbled on the Try Stampin on Tuesday sketch for this week:

And here we go:

Isn’t that the cutest little tree…..as well as the heart?  I probably should have reversed the colors, but as I said, I was just sort of playing around!

My next one uses a pretty reindeer image with some embossed backgrounds and a vintage newspaper designer paper:

I’m entering this one in The Kraft Journal’s Make It Monday: Holiday Cards!

I have an awesome stash of Christmas cards to send this year!  Remember, if you have any questions, just shoot me an email!

I don’t have any Thanksgiving pictures of Cassidy, but I do have a couple from last week, when she was nursing her sick baby doll:

Taking her temperature with an emery board “thermometer”:

Checking her ears with the nose syringe:

And making sure her teeth were very, very clean (note she has TWO toothbrushes!):

What a great imagination!  Have a great day!

  4. LeAnne: Well first, I want to say that your cards is gorgeous. I'm a big fan of pressure embossing even though I don't do it nearly as often as I should. It gives such dimension and warmth to your card - great job!
I also want to mention how ADORABLE these photos are. My girls are now 20 & 25, but it seems like yesterday when they were playing dolls. My daughter, Lily, used to pretend she was "nursing" (breast-feeding) her baby doll. LOL I had her younger brother, who I was nursing, and she thought that was the ultimate sign of motherly affection, so she needed to take care of her dollies as well. Too funny! This brings back such fond memories.
Thanks for sharing with us at The Kraft Journal. You've warmed my heart with your beautiful art, and your awesome photos. Thanks for sharing, and have a blessed week!

  9. Love them both LeAnne - but I really do love that prancing deer - maybe it's the vintageness of it that I love!
