IB48, RS36 and DD27

DSCF0587
Three challenges, two projects today!  I am so remiss in making 3D items, but I had a nice little jar rattling around in my kitchen so I thought I would make a candleholder with it after seeing this nice cozy inspiration photo from Inspired By:
I just ordered the Autumn Accents dies, so I cut them from Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake, then ran them through the Woodgrain EF and sponged them with CC ink.  I added a tag stamped with an image and sentiment from Days of Gratitude.  A burlap “ribbon” and a Naturals Designer button tied on with linen thread finished it the glass décor.

I added a couple more leaves on the inside as well as some kraft shreddie and popped in a little battery-operated tea light:

I adhered some stitched ribbon in Early Espresso around the lid and glued on a final leaf.  A quick, fun little gift item!  Edited to add:  This also qualifies for the LESSology challenge 20:  to use something clear!

My next item is a Christmas card using the colors from Dynamic Duos:
and the RetroSketches sketch for this week:
I used some new SU and non-SU goodies as well as some retired ones on my card:

That velveteen ribbon was still on the Clearance Rack, so I snagged a couple of rolls—love it!  And this vintage Christmas sentiment is going to be a new favorite for sure:

Hmmm….I think I should add a little glitter…what do you think?  Thanks for visiting today!
Yesterday I showed you Cassidy playing with her farm animals; today she took them into her bedroom and made them “lay down”!

I like your project today - I am not good with the 3D projects. The leaves run through the wood grain ef look great. I like the burlap ribbon and tag.
Your card for the dynamic duos challenge is so pretty. I love the CAS style of this. Great idea to frame the sentiment with the hodgepodge. Wow that velveteen ribbon is gorgeous.
