Just a quick post today---running late! This CAS card uses the back of a baby shower invitation I received recently. After the shower I tossed it in the trash and the back side revealed this pretty pattern! I turned it into a simple birthday card for a Curves friend:
I heat embossed the Queen Anne’s Lace portion of the flower, added some grosgrain ribbon and embossing, and my simple card was done. Sometimes simple is best! Enjoy your day!
This is beautiful LeAnne and what a fabulous pose by Cassidy.
ReplyDeleteOh my look at the sweet face and shiny eyes. Such a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteYour blue and white card is beautiful. I love the fact that you "happened on" this pretty pattern. The scalloped white on white border is very pretty.
Good to know I'm not the only one running late! Love this flower embossed in white, great idea. Also love that you used recycled items.
ReplyDeleteYou are certainly the clever one! What a great idea for a beautiful card! Hi Cassidy! Talk about beautiful....I wish I lived close enough to just give you a hug now and then! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely card LeAnne. Sometimes inspiration comes from somewhere we least expect. Adorable picture of Cassidy. She really is growing up.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL both the card and the granddaughter. Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteHi LeAnne, Made it to Iowa and at my sisters today in Iowa city area, she is having an open house and I am just checking my email. Cute cute pic of Cassidy and love your card too.

Kudos on the card redo, and what a gorgeous young lady little Cassidy is turning out to be! Must be from all the time spent with her Grandma.
