It’s Tuesday, and that means it’s time for another ColourQ challenge! Here are some cool colors for you to play with:
Wouldn’t you like to snuggle into this bedding? How fun! Unfortunately, my mojo was snuggled asleep somewhere---nothing I stamped yesterday suited me, it was quite frustrating! I did squeak out this card for the CQC, using a sketch from a card that I received from one of my customers. First, here’s my card:
I used a digital image from Arielle, colored it in a little with some Copics, then did some embossing and texturing on the remaining pieces. I did a little fun ribbon treatment, too:
And here is the card from Joan that was my inspiration:
I hope you’ll play with us at the ColourQ blog because I can’t wait to see how all you creative stampers interpret these (ahem) challenging colors!!! And check out what the other Colour Courtiers created as well! TFL!
Reading with Grampy:
Great cards, LeAnne! I love the ribbon treatment and brick embossing on the first one!....so cool! The papers on the second one are some of my very favorite from SU...I think I used it all up, but I'll have to go check. Maybe I can find some! :)
ReplyDeleteMy mind is on all the yard work I have to do. I am so tired but up at 4 thinking. Saturday I burned 7 10 foot pine tries that had been cut and in the yard for a year. It was the first non windy day we have had. Hubby was fishing so I had the neighbors ready to call 911 if something went wrong. I was out there until 1AM alone. Now I have to get the garden rototilled and planted. Alone!
ReplyDeleteOk enough of poor me.
I love the cards. Yours is wonderful but I agree they are hard colors and you did great. Love the reading picture. Cassidy really loves her books. So adorable!
