I just loved the Stamping 411 sketch this week! I love that big panel just waiting for some pretty designer paper:
I had gotten my new Summer Smooches DP but really had not had any time to play, so I pulled out one of those bright, cheerful prints to make a birthday card for a special friend:
I used markers to color the little floral image, then sprinkled them with Dazzling Diamonds; the Real Red panel was cut with the Labels Framelit and the buttons are from the Buttons #5 die.
Here’s another little card I made using this set:
A quick simple card using Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo and Certainly Celery. I’ll have some other cards featuring this cute set, Bright Blossoms, tomorrow! Remember, this set is available until April 30, then you’ll have to wait to see it in the new catalog!
You’re probably sick of seeing Cassidy “reading”, but she finds lots of places to do it, even if the book is sideways:
Thanks for visiting today!
Never tire of seeing Cassidy. Look forward to it.
ReplyDeletewonderful cards LeAnne! Love the brightness of them...I have such a hard time pulling a bright card together, thanks for sharing...I just might get creating! Enjoy your day and hug Cassidy for me :-)
ReplyDeleteWe drove SIXTY miles to the nearest hobby store yesterday and found a JoAnne's where I bought some embroidery hoops. (I'm now into needle punching) but couldn't help buying two cuttlebug die cuts that makes borders.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it will stay in its original package until I get burned out on needle punching, I made that 60 miles count!
Yep, that new paper is definitely bright and cheerful!! Love the embossing on the second one and Cassidy looks so comfy in her overstuffed chair with one foot propped up on the other!
ReplyDeleteI have loved watching Cassidy grow up and I love to see kids reading.

How FUN! LeAnne - 2 cards today. I love the bright colors & die cut buttons in the first and the layout of the second. Is #2 4-1/4" x 4-1/4"?
ReplyDeleteBoth of these cards are so bright & cheerful. I really like the effect of the dazzling diamonds on the floral image on the first one. I had not thought of putting certainly celery with melon mambo & lucky limeade, but it works so well together!
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic LeAnne! Love your take on the sketch--especially use of the framelit! So many happy colors, love the differentcolors on the flower stamp!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are just as cute as can be, but the first card draws my eye, now there's easy buttons for mailing! Cassidy cracks me up, sideways or not!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful watching your granddaughter grow up. I love seeing all your artwork up with pictures of Cassidy. This is absolutely gorgeous! i love what you did with the smooches. :)
ReplyDeleteI love to see Cassidy reading (even sideways). She is so engrossed in what she is doing. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove that fun brightly coloured card. Pretty paper. Those die cut buttons are great. I really love the colour combo on the 2nd card and the added interest the embossing folder gives.
I think I'm actually going to be able to get into my room for some creating today - that has been a long time coming.
Beautiful cards! I love the bright colors!!!
