My brother’s MIL passed away yesterday after a valiant battle with cancer and dementia. She was a wonderful Nanny to over 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and always kept us in stitches with her sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. The Stampin Royalty sketch 116 was perfect for my card:
I used some Spice Cake DP and Creative Elements and Established Elegance to make a collage-style creation in Pool Party and Crumb Cake:
I added a couple of scalloped borders, and I fussy cut my panel and added a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Some little pearls were my only other embellishment, as my SIL is creeped out by buttons!! A funny phobia! And since I stitched both my main panels, my card qualifies for Linda’s Catered Crop this week, too, which is “In Stitches”! Thanks for visiting today!
Your sympathy card is very beautiful and elegant. I love the color combinations too. Thanks so much for sharing it.
