I carved out a little stamping time this afternoon; the beautiful photo of the Pals Paper Arts challenge this week:
paired with Sketch 195 from Mary Jo at Technostamper:
gave me the inspiration I needed to make this birthday card:
Sorry, no crows on this card! (Or spider webs!) There is a bird, though! I used elements from Creative Elements, French Foliage and Nature Walk along with a sentiment from Bring on the Cake. The large flower was heat embossed, then watercolored with ink and an aquapainter. The smaller flower was punched with the Boho Blossoms punch using Tangerine Tango Patterns DP, then sponged and scrunched!
That yummy velveteen ribbon featured in the Holiday Mini catalog makes an appearance here too! Hope my friend likes it!
DD had no water this morning, so they arrived at my house in their PJs and slippers! Oh, and Miss Ellie the Elephant, too! TFL!
Wee Details:
- Stamps: Nature Walk, French Foliage, Creative Elements, Bring on the Cake, Weathered
- Paper: Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso, VV, Early Espresso Patterns DP
- Ink: Versamark, Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Basic Black
- Acc: Clear EP, Heat Tool, Velveteen Ribbon, Boho Blossom Punch, Aquapainter, Sponge Dauber, Neutrals Brad, Dimensionals
Absolutely Beau-ti-fil!!!! I am now in love Tangerine Tango!
ReplyDeleteYour subtle background stamping is beautiful - it adds such wonderful detail and depth to your cards! I have to make myself try that now and then - Heaven forbid I put too much ink on my cards! This is lovely! Oh and I should look so cute in my pj's :)
ReplyDeleteI thought that was your front door when I click on your blog. Beautiful card. What a sweetie in her PJ and with her elephant. So cute!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully done! What a great take on this sketch. I love the flower in the place of the little embellishment. And what the heck your little cutie just keeps getting cuter all the time! Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! Some of my favourite colours. The sketch is wonderful too. Like Linda, I love the subtle BG stamping...
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lesley
Wonderful! Way to put all of those stamps together!
