Happy Sunday, everyone! Today I am the hostess for the Paper Players, and I’ve chosen a theme for you: music!
You can add music to your card, or let music or a song inspire your creation—any occasion will do!
When I chose this theme a while back, I had a totally different idea for my card….I’ll bet that never happens to you, does it? LOL! Anyway, as I was using the Jolly Jingles jumbo wheel last week, making lunch sacks for my Christmas card class, it occurred to me that there were lots of Christmas lyrics in there! So I was inspired to make my weekly Christmas card using that wheel, some fabulous red Glimmer paper and a few embellishments:
This is a whopping 5 1/2” square; I needed it that big to fit everything on! It is definitely going to be a card for someone real special! Here are some closeups:
This was a lot of fun to make! And taking a tip from Ann, I used a Sharpie marker to color my rhinestones!! Cool! And here’s the inside:
I hope that you’ll play along with us at the Paper Players with your musically-inspired creations! Waltz on over to the Paper Players blog to see all the other designers’ creations and to share yours as well! And here are a couple little musical inspirations for you that knocked my socks off!:
