Monkey 75

Happy Thursday, peeps!  I am squeezing in this Christmas card for the A La Card Monkey challenge 75, which is another Christmas sketch:

I had some vintage Christmas images from Artistic Outpost just itching to be inked up, so here we go:

This is a really big card, 8x5” but my tag was so large I needed that size to fit it!  That gave me the chance to also use some new vintage MME Lost & Found Christmas paper….mmmm, it is yummy!  Santa is stamped in Memento and colored with Copics….trying to improve my skills!  I masked him and wheeled the background with SU’s Music Notes wheel.  In retrospect, I think Santa would have looked better had I stamped him in brown ink, but he’s going out in black for right now!

I resisted the urge to add glitter, because this will probably be my dad’s Christmas card!  Next time I’ll do that!  I added some beautiful SU ribbon trims:  Velveteen, Quilted and Polka Dot, and added a little mini bell to the button as well!  TFL!

    Great card, and I like Santa stamped in black. It reminds me that vintage items were modern once. (like me.)
