Nothing fantabulous today---winding down from a busy weekend. I checked the SCS challenge for today and it was almost the same as last week’s, so I thought I would just share the birthday card I made for Cassidy. Her actual birthday is not until the 17th, but we had hoped my sister from SC would be in town last weekend, so we planned the party for then. That didn’t happen, AND it rained, so it was a little bit of a disappointment, but I think everyone had a bit of fun anyway! So first, here’s the card:
Nothing too babyish, just a simple card in little-girl colors. Dana had a butterfly theme going on, but I really wanted to use the cupcake from Easy Events on her card:
Glitter and a glimmer brad “cherry”!!! Yum!
Cassidy was a bit tired and didn’t really get into the spirit of the party. This is about the happiest we saw her all day, until she began to play with some of the toys, and my camera card was full! Oh well:
A pouty face with Daddy:
Kisses from great-mom-mom:
Pinata candy:
Unhappily unwrapping gifts:
Too much excitement for one little girl!
Thank you to everyone who extended her birthday greetings! I’ll give her a kiss for each & every one of you! Have a great day! Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new ColourQ challenge!
Wow, I can't believe she's one already! Happy Birthday, Cassidy!
ReplyDeleteThe card is darling, LeAnne! A perfect 1-year old card!
Oh so sweet! Birthdays can be so hard on a girl now matter what age. LOL
