CAS Vintage Sailor Boy

I got this digital image free from The Vintage Workshop and used it to make two super-duper quick cards recently.  I noticed that the waves were very similar to some of the papers from Cosmo Cricket’s Salt Air, so I pulled them out and went to work.  My first one was a thank you to my in-laws for our recent boat trip:

The second was for my BIL’s birthday:

Sometimes digital images don’t print out clearly, but this one was wonderful!  The colors are bright and saturated, and I just think this little vintage sailor is as cute as can be!  Both sentiments are from Cute & Curly.  Thanks for visiting today!

    PERFECT matches! Not only the the Vintage print with the design paper, but the colors as well! They were made for each other. WAY TO GO!!

    I print most of my decorative paper by searching free digital sites.

    Both are so nice and quick. I'll be checking that Vintage Workshop! I can't get over how the papers matched so perfectly - amazing. Neat idea using your circle punch for the tag notch!

    Wonderful card. I always look at the Cosmo Cricket paper in the stores and never seem to find anything that I like, but this is wonderful. The stores that I have access to are AC Moore and Michael's and I think that they carry different papers. Love the picture of your grandaughter.

    Both cards are adorable! That little sailor is too cute NOT to use! I love all those pretty patterns, too. Look at little miss all pretty in pink,! Adorable outfit! :)
