Framed Collage

I am still working on my shabby-chicness techniques….I see such beauties out in blogworld and try to recreate them, but I still need some practice!  I created a little frame with some cardboard and Nesties, then painted it, tried to distress it and ended up spraying it with some Gold Glitter Spray from Krylon---NEAT STUFF!  A little swoosh and my whole creation was glittered in a second!  Unfortunately, it is difficult to see in the photo:

I did some collage stamping on the background, added a chipboard bird’s nest and some lace & ribbon, then finished with some bling & little tags that don’t mean anything, so I guess this card will be whatever I need it to be when the time arises!  Meanwhile, this fulfills a few challenges:

  4. Hello LeAnne, Such a pretty shabby chic card! I think you're not in training any more - you've got it down girl! Love the ruffled ribbon piece, cute frame and little bird nest. I'm not sure this really qualifies for CAS...ha!

  14. Looks like you NAILED shabby down with a vintage nail, chipped paint and HUGELY romantic goodness to all of your images and details - YEOWZA! If I were the BABY of the Grandma who cranked this lil' beauty out, I'd need a nap, too! XOXOXOXO!
